Dr. Shannon Pope
M.D. & Co-Owner
Dr. Shannon Pope was raised in Smithfield, graduating Valedictorian of Smithfield High School in 1990. She attended the College of William and Mary and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 1994. She then attended Eastern Medical School graduating in 1998 as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Medical Honor Society.
Dr Shannon completed her internship and residency, serving as Chief Resident, in 2002 at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her passion for life-long learning and interest in anti-aging skin care led her to incorporate Smithfield Aesthetics into her practice of medicine. While she is dedicated to caring for her patients, she considers her greatest joy to be raising and caring for her three children with her husband, Tom.
Denise Baylous
RN-C, MSN & Co-Owner
Denise Baylous has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. Denise is certified in critical care and flight nursing, is a nationally registered paramedic, and manager of Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance. Throughout her career she has worked in the cardiac/open heart surgery unit, neurological ICU, surgical ICU, emergency room and as a flight nurse.
She received her diploma of nursing at Mount Carmel School of Nursing in 1990, her BSN degree in 2006 and her MSN degree in 2009 from the University of Phoenix. She was an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University from 2006-2012 and has been with Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance since 2003. Denise has four children, two of which are twins! Her passion for aesthetics grew naturally with her love of making her patients feel better.
Kim Minga
Licensed Aesthetician & Permanent Makeup Artist
Kim Minga is a professional Aesthetician and Permanent Makeup Artist certified and licensed by the Virginia State Board. Kim attended The Institute of Health and Healing in Newport News, Virginia for Aesthetics and Eye Deux in Hampton, Virginia for permanent makeup. While providing a variety of cosmetic services to our clients, Kim specializes in all facials including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micro-needling Stemcell facials, and forma facials. She also is certified for body contouring, laser treatments, permanent makeup and waxing services.
Kim enjoys consulting with her clients to create a specialized treatment plan so they can reach their goals by combining a skincare regimen with advanced aesthetic services. Kim prides herself in always providing excellent customer satisfaction. She feels each treatment, no matter how many times the client has been seen, should always be a quality service that is better than the previous service. Kim resides in Smithfield with her husband of 25 years. She has three wonderful adult children and four grandchildren whom she loves dearly. She loves spending time with family, traveling, working out and being outdoors.
Arielle Haney
Licensed Aesthetician & Lash Technician
Arielle Haney or Elle as her family and friends call her, has been recognized by the Virginia State Board in Cosmetology and Esthetics. She is certified in lash extensions, Hydrafacial, lasers, and waxing services. She works hard on continuing her education and learning new ways to make each treatment special by giving her clients the quality care they deserve. Her desire is to have each client leave their appointment feeling better than when they arrived.
Some of her creative outlets are cooking, baking, and interior design. Her favorite moments are spent with her husband, three children, and her Mom outside on their small family farm. She is looking forward to the world of aesthetics and to work in such a rewarding industry.
Eva Tutic
Licensed Massage Therapist
Eva is no stranger to aesthetics field, having spent over 8+ years working for a California based plastic surgeon as a patient advocate, and inventor of the patient post-operative ERAS (Enhanced Recovery Program), where she strived in educating patients on a speedy recovery after surgery and various acute and chronic pain “naturally”.
Before joining Smithfield Aesthetics, Eva and her husband moved to Virginia, to be closer to family and friends. Passionate about patient care, and its possibilities, Eva decided on taking on a new chapter in her life, by providing and educating her patients in a different way. From advising and sending her patients to massage therapy, she decided that helping her patients hands on was a much more a fulfilling goal.
With her certification from Fuller Advanced Massage in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Eva takes on a holistic approach to her practice, considering not only the physical, but also the emotional and energetic aspects of her clients well being.

Anna Heard
Nutrition Educator
Anna graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human, Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a concentration in Dietetics. She has been serving her community by teaching others about the value of good nutrition and helping clients feel their best. Anna was born and raised in Smithfield and currently resides in Smithfield with her husband Colton. She has worked with a diverse range of clients from many different backgrounds and lifestyles to help them optimize their nutrition. She has a passion for food and helping people make food and lifestyle choices that help them feel their best!
